It is important to realize that culture change is more than a physical transformation of the nursing home. Culture change is an emotional and psychological way of looking at the home in which your residents live, their families visit and your staff works. AIPP is working to share best practice implementation tools to help build the foundation necessary to begin making changes or to assist you with sustaining the changes that you have made in your home.
We would like to encourage all homes to share their culture change successes or best practice tools with everyone by emailing them to aipp@afmc.org.
Sharing our successes will be vital as we are embarking on this exciting journey that will positively impact the future of long term care.
