Nursing homes face many challenges — high turnover, intense regulation, changing expectations, and residents with multiple health conditions and clinical issues. AFMC’s Arkansas Innovative Performance Program (AIPP) takes a tailored approach to quality improvement in the nursing home or assisted living facility, to help meet these challenges while creating a culture in which residents’ social, personal and clinical needs are consistently met.
AIPP is dedicated to helping Medicaid-certified nursing homes provide the best care and environment possible to their residents. We believe this is best accomplished through the implementation of practices that are clearly understood by staff and frequently monitored.
We provide access to a team of professionals that includes DONs, RNs, LPNs, CNAs & Administrators experienced in long-term care. We can assist the home in exploring the root cause of the opportunity need before identifying the best practice solution for sustaining quality improvement.
Through conferences, onsite training and telephone consultation, AIPP can develop a program to meet the needs of an individual home, multi-facility group or statewide long-term care community.
AIPP offers research-based solutions related to resident quality of care, staff and family satisfaction and survey performance. We can also offer support in areas such as:
